BTS “ARIRANG” Hits 24 Weeks on UK Official Albums Chart, Setting New Group Record
BTS has reached another career milestone with its fifth studio album, “ARIRANG.” The album has remained on the UK Official Albums Chart for 24 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart update, “ARIRANG” climbed nine places to No. 83. The ranking covers the September 4-10 chart period. Its continued presence shows strong demand six months after release.
The album also gained momentum across several UK specialty charts. “ARIRANG” reached No. 41 on the Official Physical Albums Chart. It ranked No. 30 on the Official Scottish Albums Chart.
Meanwhile, the album rose to No. 43 on the Official Albums Sales Chart. The increase was notable despite 28 albums making new entries that week.
BTS is also maintaining impressive momentum on Spotify. “ARIRANG” has charted for 24 weeks on the Weekly Top Albums Global ranking.
For the August 28-September 3 tracking period, the album stayed at No. 2. It has held that position for three straight weeks. More importantly, “ARIRANG” has never dropped outside the global Top 3 since entering the chart.
Individual tracks are showing similar staying power. Title track “SWIM” ranked No. 12 on Spotify’s global weekly chart. Album track “NORMAL” placed at No. 82. Both songs have remained on the ranking for seven consecutive weeks.
In addition, BTS is bringing the “ARIRANG” era directly to American fans. The group is performing at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 1-2 and September 5-6.
The concerts are part of “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN LOS ANGELES.” Los Angeles also declared September 1-8 as “BTS Week,” creating a citywide celebration around the shows.
After completing the Los Angeles dates, BTS will conclude the North American leg of the tour. The group will then head to South America, extending the global journey of “ARIRANG” to its next destination.
